To apply you need
- An offer of admission from a recognised institution in Germany.
- Academic results that meet the entry level of your course.
- An accepted English test result, or a language certificate where the course requires it.
- Enough funds for tuition and living costs, shown with clear bank papers.
Also important
- A clean record: no serious criminal or immigration history.
- A believable study plan that fits your education and career.

- Valid passport (at least 12 months validity) and all old passports
- Recent passport-size photo (white background)
- Admission letter and proof of blocked account (Sperrkonto)
- Academic certificates and transcripts (SSC, HSSC / Diploma, Bachelor as applicable)
- English test result (IELTS / PTE / Duolingo, as the university accepts)
- Statement of purpose and two recommendation letters
- Bank statement (6 months), bank solvency certificate and sponsor documents
- Medical / police clearance certificate, where the embassy asks
Documents must be clear, recent and consistent. Names, dates of birth and amounts must match across your passport, certificates, bank papers and the application form. Documents that are not in English need a certified translation.
